Preserve water quality – volunteer for Clean Boats, Clean Waters Program
With the growing concern over the spread of aquatic invasive species to Wisconsin’s inland lakes, many lake district members are looking for ways to get involved. The Clean Boats, Clean Waters volunteer watercraft inspection program is an opportunity to take a front line defense against the spread of aquatic invasive species.
You can help by volunteering to put literature at bait shops, talk to boaters at the landings and inspect boats, enter data online, or assemble literature packets. We have about 30 volunteers on our lake doing this important work to protect water quality from invasives. Join us! Contact us by clicking here
Connect neighbors and members to resources and news –writers, artists, photos needed
Our communications committee could use your talents with writing/editing, photography, MailChimp, InDesign or Word Press. Join the creative team to produce content for our newsletter, email or website! Can you help create information and inspiration that is sent to district members? Photos of lake life welcomed!
